NAUTICAL DECORATION

For many, many years, ships were the only alternative to cross the oceans. However, from the 20th century onwards, this became more expensive and luxurious. During the later years, the services on board became more and more elitist. Nowadays, there are thousands of companies that make cruises around the world. There are many things that impress passengers: ship size, number of floors, capacity, and many other infrastructures.

Many operators intend to take the passenger into a world of fantasy, passing by unique and paradisiacal places. Some ships are so large that they resemble some great cities by their size.

However, the nautical decoration has gained space, making these environments on the high seas as comfortable as those on land. Well-designed environments, bringing comfort to all the crew of the craft was a challenging function for many designers and architects to create this fascinating and suggestive nautical decoration.

With the rapid advancement of technology, new materials have been explored, thus creating tougher products, making life on the high seas easier and more comfortable. It is no wonder that when we talk about cruises, we are always referred to the memory of something luxurious.

Good decoration and a great use of space, help and many crew members with the question of claustrophobia: fear of remaining in enclosed spaces. Generally, this luxurious decor features many textures, luster, colors, neon, and artwork.

If you dream of having a houseboat, think hard about the functional issue. Each object must have a utility. At the bottom of the vessel, the materials used are stainless steel, polycarbonate  and crystal with titanium, as they are highly resistant to corrosion. Silver is not recommended as its maintenance would be almost impossible.
